Decision Features

When creating a pay-as-you-go ecosystem, there are many choices, especially in the following key areas.

  • How customer credit is measured – by energy use and/or by time?
  • Will customers purchase daily allotments of usage or pay by the unit for non-expiring amounts of time or energy?
  • How much will customers pay for energy or time?
  • Which device will be used to measure and switch electricity?
  • Who receives money at the end of the day? (E.g. micro-lenders)
  • How money is moved from the customer?

We are happy to discuss both the technical and business implications of all these choices.
