Warranties for the TellCoSOL Solar Home System
We trust the quality of our products. All TellCoSOL storage batteries and lighting products come with 3 years warranty. During this period, we guarantee, that our products are free from defects in material or workmanship.
Please contact your dealer or local TellCo Europe sales agent, if you experience any problems with the product. Your local dealer will then assess the defect and will decide whether the product can be repaired or has to be replaced.
TellCo Europe shall not be responsible for any consequential damage or damage that exceeds the value of the product. A warranty repair does not extend the warranty period.
Appliances, like Fridge, TV, or Fans are not included in the overall TellCo Europe warranty for electronic components and may have different warranty terms.
The warranty becomes invalid if the device is used other than intended by the manufacturer. This warranty does not cover failures caused by the wrong installation or set up or unusual use.
The warranty is also void in case of repairs by any unauthorized or untrained person.
Three years warranty is for the:
- Zermatt 600W control Unit
- Solar Panel
- LED Bulbs
- Multi Cable Charger
- Lamp Holder
Warranties for the TellCoSOL LED Street and Park Lights
The following rules and conditions will apply to the warranty. We support the Warranty as defined in our proposal, not covered are human errors or force majeure nature calamities.
- TellCo Europe should not bear any responsibility for any damages, which are caused by natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, thunder, and fire, etc, the 3rd party operation, stolen, damage, contretemps, or any damage caused by improper operation or installation.
- TellCo Europe is not responsible for any damage caused by in case you didn’t follow the installation instructions as mentioned in this manual.
- TellCo Europe is not responsible for any damage, in case you’ve used or combined products, that were not supplied with your purchase.
- TellCo Europe is not responsible for the installation of the foundations. We can only supervise the work with an authorized civil contactor.
- Complete Street light 2 years full warranty after installation on site or latest 3 months after FOB delivery.
- Extended warranty: additional 3 years against price adaption. So totally 5 years full warranty can be given at the time of ordering and if a maintenance contact is agreed with the end user.
- Installation will be done by the contractor and supervised by TellCo Europe Switzerland in coordination with our local partner in the country.
- We will only accept claims from the authorized service provider. All the defective parts need to be shipped back to our local partner.
- Solar panels: Peak output warranty
– 10 years – If, within a period of 10 (ten) years from the date shown in the invoice to the Buyer, modules have an output of less than 90% of the agreed minimum peak output as specified in the product information sheet.
– 25 years – If, within a period of 25 (twenty five) years from the date shown in the invoice to the Buyer, modules with a nominal power of minimum 25 Wp have an output of less than 80% of the agreed minimum peak output as specified in the product information sheet. - Lamp head fixture, LED Watt: 5 years full warranty (LED module 10 years for 12 hours operation per day).
- Battery Box: 3 years full warranty.
- SMART Controller: 3 years full warranty.
- Conical Steel pole, height incl arm : 3 years full warranty (Hot Dip Galvinzed ,Powder Coated).
- Solar panels: more than 25 years.
- Lamp head fixture, LED Watt: 10 years.
- Battery Box: 5 – 7 years.
- SMART Controller: 10 years.
- Conical Steel pole, height incl arm: 12 – 15 years (Hot Dip Galvanized, Powder Coated).
Warranties for the TellCoSOL Solar Panel
TellCo Europe provides hereby following limited warranty on the SLP Series off-grid photovoltaic modules produced by it (“Modules” hereafter), according to the terms and conditions stipulated below.
TellCo Europe warrants that the Modules are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal conditions of use, installation, and maintenance, within a period of 1 year as from the date of delivery.
If a Module is found defective in material and/or process, TellCo Europe, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the module, or refund the purchase price within the above specified period according to the defective type.
Repair, replacement, and refund of the purchase price are the only and exclusive performances guaranteed under this Product Warranty which is limited to the above specified period.
TellCo Europe warrants that if module delivers less than 80% of the minimal output specified at delivery within a period of 5years as from the date of delivery. TellCo Europe will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the module, or deliver additional module(s) to compensate for the loss of the output, provided that such a loss of output is attributable to defects in material and/or process by the diagnosis of TellCo Europe.
Repair, replacement, and additional delivery are the only and exclusive performances guaranteed Under this Output Warranty which is limited to the above specified period(s).
(1) In any event, all warranty claims must be received within the applicable warranty period for this warranty to be effective.
(2) The above-limited warranties are not applicable should TellCo Europe determines, at its sole discretion, that the module has been incorrectly operated, or inappropriately used. Or exposed to accidents, or damaged by misuse, by modification, by the unsuitable installation or use, by negligence with storage, transport or handling, or repaired or modified-in whatever manner-by anyone other than TellCo Europe or its authorized third party.
Further exclusions of the limited warranties include defects:
– Caused by outer impacts, e.g. defective equipment part, appliances, system components like bypass diodes, connecting cables, invertors, or the like, which have been coupled with the module by anyone other than TellCo Europe, or caused by defective system design, configuration, or installation planning.
– Caused by faulty wiring or installation, or faulty handling during these works.
– Caused by operation in an inappropriate environment or with inappropriate methods, which deviates from the instructions in product specification, and /or operational manual.
– Caused by force of nature, force majeure, or other unforeseeable circumstances outside of the range of the influence of TellCo Europe, for instance, earthquake, typhoon, whirlwind, volcanic eruption, flood, lightning, snow damage, etc.
These “Limited Warranty for Modules” as set forth herein are expressly in lieu of exclude all other express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and of fitness for particular purpose, use, or application, and all other obligations or liabilities on the part of TellCo Europe, unless such other obligations or liabilities are expressly agreed to in writingsigned and approved by TellCo Europe.
TellCo Europe shall have no responsibility or liability whatsoever or damage or injury to persons or property or for other loss or injury resulting from any cause whatsoever arising out of or related to the Modules, including, without limitation, any defects in the module, or from use
or installation. Under no circumstances shall TellCo Europe be liable for incidental, consequential or special damages, howsoever caused. Loss of profits, loss of production, and loss of revenues are specifically and without limitation excluded.
